A Different Kind of Festival

There’s a certain kind of weekend that’s hard to find.
One that reminds you of what it means to be alive.
It’s something we’ve been wanting to create for a long time. Not as an event to attend, but as a space to step into. And this summer, we’re finally opening it up.

Introducing the Zen Jungle Community Festival
From July 10-13, the land at Zen Jungle will become home to an intimate festival. Not a traditional festival. But much more than a retreat.
Spread across 40 acres of Devon countryside: woodland, lakes, yurts, firepits, gardens... this is an invitation to spend a few days living a little differently. Less doing. More being.
What You Can Drop Into
Throughout the weekend, there’ll be a range of experiences you can step into as and when it feels right:
Sound journeys and meditation
Yoga and gentle movement
Wild swimming and sauna
Ecstatic dance
Shamanic breathwork
Talks, conversations, and shared learning
Music, fire, and evening gatherings
And woven through it all — time to pause, connect, and breathe.
The People Bringing It to Life
What makes this weekend special isn’t just what’s happening — it’s who is part of it.
We’re so happy to have already announced:
Nourishing, seasonal food from chef Nikita Leys (Vegan Wise)
Live music from Lore and Lament, and James
Shamanic breathwork with Jason
Sound baths with Hannah
Yoga with Ananda Yoga and Wellness
Qi Gong and card readings with Alessia
A witch choir workshop with Holly Anne Coles
Freedom and “exit the system” conversations with the NotAPerson team
…and more still unfolding.
It’s all coming together in a way that feels natural, unforced, and very much aligned with what this gathering is about.
Who This Is For
This is a gathering for people of all ages. Adults, families, children — familiar faces and new ones.
It’s for those who feel drawn to something a little different, a little more connected. People who value presence over pace, and depth over distraction. We’re keeping numbers intentionally small, so that it feels personal, open, and easy to settle into.
The Atmosphere We’re Holding
This isn’t a party environment (although there will be plenty of celebration, live music and ecstatic dance!).
It’s calm, respectful, and grounded.
Alcohol will be available, but it’s not the focus. Drugs aren’t part of the space. Phones are gently discouraged. We’ll have a photographer capturing moments across the weekend, so you can stay present — and have something to take away with you afterwards.
Why We’re Doing This
Because spaces like this feel increasingly rare.
Places where you can arrive as you are. Where children are part of the environment, not separate from it. Where conversations can go deeper. Where time slows down enough for you to notice it.
This isn’t about escaping life.
It’s about remembering a different way of living within it.
If It Feels Right
If something in this speaks to you, even quietly, you’re very welcome to come and be part of it. Not just as someone attending, but as someone shaping the space simply by being there. This is the first of what we hope becomes a returning gathering.
And it starts here.
