Zen Jungle Community Festival

Friday 10th – Monday 13th July

Devon, near Bude

This July, we’re opening the land for a gentle, intentional gathering — a festival rooted in community, nature, spirituality, and shared experience.

The Zen Jungle Community Festival is not about rushing from stage to stage or staying up all night. It’s about slowing down, spending time together, and remembering how good it feels to live — in connection with the land and with one another.

Set across 40 acres of countryside, including woodland, lakes, yurts, firepits, vegetable gardens, cabins, and wide open views, this is a space to breathe, explore, and belong.

What to Expect

Across the weekend, you’ll be invited to take part in a rich but unpressured programme of activities, including:

  • Sound Baths
  • Meditation & mindfulness practices
  • Wild swimming in the lakes
  • Sauna sessions
  • Ecstatic Dance
  • Shamanic Breathwork (adults only)
  • NotAPerson Exit The System Talks
  • Mindfulness walks through the land
  • Gardening & land-based talks
  • Music
  • Shared firepit gatherings
  • Pop-up stalls
  • A festival photographer capturing the weekend

There will be a schedule running roughly between 8am–8pm, giving structure without pressure. You’re free to join what calls you — or do nothing at all. There’s no expectation to participate in everything; rest and integration are just as welcome as activity.

Activities will take place outdoors where possible, with beautiful indoor spaces available if the weather turns.

Food & Drink

All cabins are self-catered with their own kitchens.

Throughout the festival, delicious plant-based food will be available to purchase from the bistro by Vegan Wise (Instagram: @vegan_wise), led by Nikita — an incredible vegan chef working with local, seasonal ingredients and Ayurvedic principles.

The bar will be open for drinks. Alcohol is available, but this is not a drinking-focused festival — the atmosphere is calm, conscious, and grounded.

Fresh spring water is available on site from our own chemical-free borehole.

Who This Festival Is For

This festival is for everyone — adults, families, little ones, familiar faces, and those discovering Zen Jungle for the first time.

Children are warmly welcome and are part of the community fabric of the weekend. Parents remain responsible for their children at all times.

  • Shamanic Breathwork is for over 16s only
  • Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

This is a space for respectful, open-minded, curious people who value connection over consumption.

Arrival & Departure

  • Arrival: From 12pm on Friday 10th July
  • Festival activities: Friday (late afternoon & early evening), Saturday & Sunday
  • Departure: Accommodation guests depart Monday morning

Day visitors are welcome to attend via a Festival Pass and may join for Saturday and Sunday.

A Few Important Notes

  • This is a drug-free festival
  • Phones are discouraged — a photographer will be present so you can stay present
  • We ask everyone to arrive with respect, openness, and care for the space and each other
  • Photography & Media. We’ll be capturing moments from the weekend through photography, some of which may be used to share and promote future Zen Jungle events. After the festival, guests will be able to access the photos and download any they love as a keepsake of the weekend. If being photographed feels uncomfortable for you, we kindly ask that you don’t book a ticket for this gathering.

Why This Festival Exists

This weekend is about more than activities. It’s about remembering that another way of living — slower, more connected, more human — is not only possible, but deeply nourishing.

Our hope is that you leave feeling alive, inspired, deeply connected, and hopeful — carrying something home with you that lasts well beyond the weekend.

This is the first Zen Jungle Community Festival, and we hope it becomes a yearly gathering — growing gently, without losing its heart.

We’d love you to be part of the beginning 🌿
